BARRIE, Ont., Canada -- A day later, Scott Steckly is still fast at Barrie Speedway.

The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 championshp contender won the Heluva Good! Pole Award for Sunday's Hudco Electric Supply 300 presented by G-Oil after rain Saturday pushed qualifying and the race up a day.

Steckly, who was fastest in practice Saturday afternoon, won the pole with a lap of 14.348 seconds (83.552 mph) around the .333-mile oval. It is Steckly's second career pole at Barrie. Steckly enters the second-to-last event of the season trailing DJ Kennigton by three points.

Pete Shepherd III qualified second at 14.371 (83.418). Shepherd has won both series races he's entered this season.

Kennington qualified third at 14.388 (83.319).

Larry Jackson and Ron Beauchamp Jr. rounded out the top five. Jason Hathaway was sixth quick, followed by JR Fitzpatrick, LP Dumoulin, Mark Dilley and Martin Roy.

Green flag for the Hudco Electric Supply 300 is slated for 1:30 p.m. ET Sunday.
