The 2014 NASCAR Touring Series Night of Champions was held Saturday, Dec. 13 at the Crown Ballroom of the Charlotte Convention Center at the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
The evening honored the seven touring series champions:
Abraham Calderón, NASCAR Whelen Euro Series champion Anthony Kumpen, NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 champion LP Dumoulin, NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion Doug Coby, NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour champion Andy Seuss, NASCAR K&N Pro Series West champion Greg Pursley, and NASCAR K&N Pro Series East champion Ben Rhodes.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The culmination and coronation of a season-long – and career-defining – road to NASCAR glory came Saturday night for seven drivers.
Abraham Calderón summed it up the best on stage at the NASCAR Touring Series Night of Champions.
“This championship was a dream a few years ago,” said the 26-year-old Monterrey, Mexico driver as he accepted the NASCAR Mexico Toyota Series title. “It was really hard. But now that it’s real, it’s way better than I could ever imagine.”> More
MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Bragging rights were settled among champions, a European driver scored his first-ever win on U.S. soil and a familiar media member collected another trophy. All in a days work during the annual Media & Champions Karting Challenge at GoPro Motorplex.
After a one-year layoff the race featuring all seven NASCAR touring series champions and the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series national champion competed at the road course in a pair of races.> More

The German track hosted the last round of the Euro NASCAR regular season on July 19-20 and both divisions offered the huge crowd close racing and tense action on the twisty 2.255 miles (3.629 kilometers) of the GP-Strecke.
