NEW SMYRNA, Fla. – Harrison Burton made it two in a row at New Smyrna Speedway, but not the way he planned.
The 16-year-old was awarded the victory after Ty Majeki was disqualified during the post-race inspection after his fuel cell was found gutted.

The 16-year-old from Huntersville, North Carolina, led every lap en route to the Super Late Model Victory Monday in the 35-lap feature at New Smyrna Speedway. It was his first victory of the week at the 51st World Series of Asphalt Racing and comes on the heels of finishing second in last Friday's opening race.> More
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bill Mullis made the big news announcement Friday: He had purchased Langley Speedway in Hampton, Virginia, and the historic track will re-open in 2017 to racing.
Sunday afternoon, Mullis continued the good news for racers and race fans. He announced the .4-mile oval will host the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and newly unified NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour this season. In addition, the track will return to the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series with its weekly racing program.> More
Berlin Raceway is a 7/16 mile long paved oval race track in Marne, Michigan, near Grand Rapids. It opened in 1950 as a half mile dirt track. Berlin's current track record is 12.765 seconds at 123.24 mph, set by Brian Gerster on 6/13/2015 in a winged sprint car. Randy Sweet also set the all time quickest lap in his tricked out "Rocket Car" on 6/22/1985 with a time of 12.573 seconds at 125.26 mph.> More

NEW SMYRNA, Fla. -- Luck of the draw went Spencer Davis' way Friday night, and he parlayed it into an opening round victory at New Smyrna Speedway.
The 18-year-old NASCAR Next driver from Dawsonville, Georgia, started second and led every lap en route to the win in the 35-lap Super Late Model feature on the first night of the 51st World Series of Asphalt Racing. The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series race went caution free, allowing Davis to outrun a late charge from runner-up Harrison Burton by .651 seconds.> More

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Shawn Solomito helped a NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour legend complete his bucket list in 2016 at New York’s Riverhead Raceway.
Solomito, who turns 28 this week, captured his second track championship at Riverhead in the modified division and in doing so helped 1994 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion Wayne Anderson claim his first Riverhead track championship as a car owner at the quarter-mile speedplant.> More
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Lee Pulliam passed Brian Vause in the closing laps to win the 2nd Annual IceBreaker at Myrtle Beach Speedway on Saturday afternoon.
Pulliam, who had been fast all weekend, kicked off the afternoon by sitting on the pole for the 125-lap race. Once the green flag dropped, Chad McCumbee, who started second, took the lead away from Pulliam. Early on, Pulliam began to save his tires, and as a result, he fell outside of the top-five.> More
