Hayley Surges To K&N Win At UNOH Battle

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Starting anew is rare for teenagers, but it paid off for Cameron Hayley.

Hayley, a 16-year-old out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, battled back from an earlier incident and banged fenders with Gray Gaulding in a drag race to the checkered flag to win the NASCAR K&N Pro Series race at the UNOH Battle At The Beach on Tuesday night at Daytona International Speedway.

It was the first race with Gene Price Motorsports for Hayley, who picked up his first NASCAR victory and led just one lap on the night – the all-important final one.

Exotics Racing By FJ To Offer Opportunities

The overall level of competition is very high in this series and serves as an ideal launch pad to NASCAR’s national series for drivers and teams alike.

Daytona On Deck For Short-Track Stars

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Nearly 11 months ago, NASCAR and Daytona International Speedway announced the concept of a unique short-track event to take place Feb. 18-19 during the 2013 Speedweeks. With the kickoff just over five weeks away, the anticipation and excitement around the inaugural UNOH Battle At The Beach continues to rise.

Friday, NASCAR released the entry blanks to the competitors that outlined the complete details, from the final event schedule to the complete race format for the special non-points events.

Year In Review: Euro-Racecar

Though he led the standings from the opening race at Nogaro (France) through to the final contest at the legendary Le Mans venue, Ander Vilarino’s journey to the title was not as smooth as it may at first appear. Strong competition would hold off his coronation, and it was not until the final laps of the season that the 32-year-old San Sebastian, Spain native became the inaugural Euro-Racecar NASCAR Touring Series champion.
