-Southern National opened in 1993 with Scott Riggs (former Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series driver) winning the track championship.
-The track joined the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series family in 1998.
-One of the most notable events each year at the facility is the Thanksgiving Classic.

Rockford Speedway is a quarter- mile paved oval located in Loves Park, Illinois. With drivers such as Matt Kenseth, Mark Martin, Dick Trickle and Greg Biffle among the track's repertoire, the speedway trailblazed its way into history as Northern Illinois' "longest running sports and entertainment venue."

ADAMS COUNTY TRACK FACTS

The Adams County Speedway is an oval half-mile dirt track founded in 1888. The speedway was originally operated as a county fairgrounds known for its horse racing. It has continued to progress and hosts the NASCAR Whelen- All American Series in Corning, Iowa just north of the Missouri border.
