Matt Kobyluck and his No. 40 Mohegan Sun Resort Chevrolet arrives at Lime Rock Park this Saturday with history behind him and momentum pushing him forward.

Kobyluck will take to the newly-repaved 1.53-mile road course as the series’ new points leader. It’s the first time the Uncasville, Conn., driver has led the points since the completion of the fourth race of 2006 at Thompson (Conn.) International Speedway.

Chew Surprises Self With Pole Award

BEAVER FALLS, N.Y. - Series veteran Bryon Chew scored his second career NASCAR Camping World Series East Coors Light Pole Award during Saturday's qualifying for the Edge Hotel 150.

Chew's No. 99 Buzz Chew Chevrolet Chevrolet circled Adirondack International Speedway's half mile in 16.469 seconds/109.926 mph.

"I thought I had a decent time," said Chew, "but when they told me the time, I didn't believe it. I needed this. I needed it for the team. We've needed a little luck. Hopefully we can keep it going."

Practice: DEI Leads The Way

BEAVER FALLS, N.Y. - Dale Earnhardt Inc. teammates Trevor Bayne and Jeffrey Earnhardt topped the speed charts during the nearly two-hour NASCAR Camping World Series East practice session Saturday afternoon.

Bayne (No. 1 Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet Chevrolet) posted the fastest time at 16.722 seconds/107.540 mph around the .5-mile Adirondack International Speedway, followed by Earnhardt (No. 8 Dale Earnhardt Foundation Chevrolet) at 16.738/107.540.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Matt Kobyluck earned his second victory of the season when he took the checkered flag in the Strutmasters.com 150 Saturday night at the Music City Motorplex.

In a race that saw 12 changes at the front, Kobyluck (No. 40 Mohegan Sun Resort Chevrolet) grabbed his first lead of the night on lap 136 and made it stand through the last final 15 circuits for the victory ahead of runner-up Peyton Sellers (No. 44 E.J. Prescott/Castle Chevrolet).
