SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. -- Chris Eggleston has won almost everything possible this weekend at Orange Show Speedway - so far.
The Erie, Colorado, driver and 2015 K&N Pro Series West champion was fastest in practice and then drove his No. 99 NAPA Filters/NAPA Power Premium Toyota to his second careeer Coors Light Pole Award. Eggleston's pole winning lap of 13.155 seconds (68.415 mph) came on his fourth of fifth circuits of group qualifying around the quarter-mile San Bernardino oval.
Michael Self (13.262 seconds, 67.863 mph) qualified second in the No. 9 Sunrise Ford/Lucas Oil/Eibach Springs Ford, with Will Rogers, Todd Gilliland and Ron Norman rounding out the top five starters for Saturday evening's Orange Show 150.
Sheldon Creed will start sixth. Eggleston's teammate, Derek Kraus, will roll off seventh, followed by Nicole Behar, Julia Landauer and Todd Soua.
The Orange Show 150 is scheduled to go green at 8:15 p.m. Eggleston is the defending winner of the event.
