K&N Pro Series East & West History (2007-pr.)

Iowa Speedway is a 7/8 asphalt oval track with high banking located in Newton, Iowa. The thrilling track is the only one of its kind to be created by a NASCAR Hall of Famer and former driver- Rusty Wallace. The short track is well- known for its high speed racing and remains Iowa's primary professional sports venue.

• 0.875-mile paved oval with the turns banked 12-14 degrees, four degrees of baking in the backstretch and 10 degrees in the frontstretch.
• The track opened in 2006 and the first NASCAR sanctioned race was a K&N Pro Series combination event on May 20, 2007 won by Joey Logano.
• NASCAR XFINITY Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series events were added in 2009.
