For those unable to attend the 2011 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Awards Banquet and/or NASCAR Night of Champions Touring Series Awards Gala held last December in the Grand Ballroom of the Charlotte (N.C.) Convention Center within the NASCAR Hall of Fame complex, here is an opportunity to view these tremendous events. Or, perhaps, those in attendance would like to relive the many magical moments.

Scott Widener, who as crew chief helped Burt Myers win the 2010 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour championship, has been hired by JTG Daugherty Racing as a rear suspension specialist.
> MoreDAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Funeral services and visitation plans have been announced for Roger Hill, owner of the No. 79 and No. 19 cars in the NASCAR Whelen Modified and Southern Modified Tours. Hill passed away Thursday following a brief illness.
The family will receive friends at Moody's funeral home, located at 202 W. Blue Ridge Street in Stuart, Va., from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at Stateline Primitive Babtist Church located at 1060 Hillbilly Hollow in Westfield, N.C.

Brunnhoelzl’s championship run was just one of the many stories that played out during one of the most successful seasons in the history of the tour in 2011.

> MoreDAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – NASCAR announced today the 2012 schedule for the eighth season of the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour, which includes the first race ever scheduled on a one-mile track.
The Whelen Southern Modified Tour will make its inaugural visit to Rockingham (N.C.) Speedway for the season finale on Nov. 3. The event will partner with the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East for a doubleheader at the track steeped in NASCAR history. At one mile, it will be the largest track the Whelen Southern Modified Tour has visited in its brief history.
