The new name for the official NASCAR series in Europe was introduced on July 1 in Paris. The long-term partnership between Team FJ and Whelen Engineering that will run through the 2019 season gave birth to the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. BLOIS, France – Italian driver Max Papis has entered for the race on the Tours Speedway (Indre-et-Loire) on July 6-7, and for the Italian round on his home turf on the Monza circuit on Sept. 28-29.
Papis is an eclectic driver who has racked an impressive set of results in all categories of motor sport, and he is the perfect example of a European racer competing at the top level in the NASCAR International Series. LONGFIELD, U.K. – Ander Vilarino won the first Elite Division race on the Brands Hatch Indy circuit at the American SpeedFest on Saturday in Euro-Racecar NASCAR Touring Series action.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – NASCAR announced today the postseason awards dates for the annual NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Awards and the NASCAR Night of Champions Touring Series Awards, set for Dec. 13 and 14 at the NASCAR Hall of Fame / Charlotte Convention Center.
