VALENCIA, Spain - Spanish racer Ander Vilarino has taken victory at the Ricardo Tormo circuit, beating Javier Villa and Roman Thievin to record his fifth win of the season as the championship top-three locked out the podium.
Starting second on the grid behind Javier Villa (#64 Gonneau Racing), Vilarino (#2 TFT-Banco Santander) took control of the race at the first corner. However, after dominating the opening laps he was forced to defend in the closing stages as his fellow countryman Villa launched a late charge.
VALENCIA, Spain - Qualifying for the semi-finals of the 2012 EURO-RACECAR NASCAR Touring Series was dominated by the championship’s Spanish contingent as Javier Villa and Ander Vilarino locked out the Elite division front row. Meanwhile Simon Escallier secured top spot in the Open class as the sun remained hidden at the Iberian circuit, with showers greeting the competitors.

BLOIS, France – Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia will host a NASCAR Euro-Racecar event for the first time on September 28-30. Just like the season finale at Le Mans (Oct. 12-14), the semifinals in Spain will count for double points.

Ben Kennedy figured the best way to celebrate one of America's signature holidays was by taking one of America's signature passions – NASCAR racing – overseas.

TOURS, France -- As Eric Hélary eyes a transition to NASCAR racing in the United States, he returned to the Euro-Racecar Series Sunday to claim the Evenement 100 and close out the series' historic race weekend.
Hélary took the lead with 20 laps remaining on the .4-mile temporary oval en route to the victory.
Points leader Ander Vilarino (#2 TFT-Banco Santander) finished second and (#100 Still Racing-Convergence) third.

The 20-year-old Daytona Beach, Fla., driver -- the great-grandson of NASCAR-founder Bill France Sr. -- drove to his first NASCAR victory Saturday afternoon in the Michelin 100 at Tour Speedway in France.
