Pinty’s Series News & Notes: CTMP

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Every May there’s a buzz among Canadian race fans when the Clarington 200 gets the season going for the NASCAR Pinty’s Series at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

The famous 2.459-mile, 10-turn road course has provided some entertaining races throughout the years and for the sixth consecutive season it will host the opener for NASCAR’s only touring series in Canada.

Can-Am To Sponsor Pinty's Series At GP3R

MONTRÉAL, Que. – BRP announced today that it will serve as the title sponsor for the August Weekend NASCAR Pinty’s Series race at the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières (GP3R). The race, scheduled for Sunday, August 14, 2016 will be named ‘Les 50 Tours Can-Am’. “In Quebec, few names can compete with the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières when we think of passion, adrenaline and motorsports,” says Dominic Fugère, general manager at GP3R. “Can-Am, owned by BRP, is one of these legendary brands. > More

Air Titan 2, Part II:  Last fall Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park became the first NASCAR Home Track to enlist the help of an Air Titan 2 when it had one on hand for the Sunoco World Series. The track has once again assured attendees that it will do all it can to get the scheduled events completed in a timely manner by bringing the track-drying technology back for this weekend’s Icebreaker.

Pinty’s Series Drivers Enter Curling Tourney

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — NASCAR Pinty’s Series competitors are no stranger to slip-sliding through the turns of Canada’s short tracks. Thursday a trio of drivers will glide on a completely different surface.

Mark Dilley, D.J. Kennington and Gary Klutt have combined to win 23 NASCAR Pinty’s Series races in their careers. This time they will team up to take on the field of the 4th Annual We Rock Charity Curling Tournament presented by Pinty’s.

Burns Joins Dumoulin Competition

Pinty’s Series In The News At Motorama

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — First-year entitlement sponsor Pinty’s Delicious Foods will bring a fresh look to the NASCAR Pinty’s Series in 2016, but the new series logo won’t be the only update that fans see this weekend at the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo.

The NASCAR Pinty’s Series is once again participating in the annual motorsports trade show with an information booth, series drivers and a show car, and attendees of this year’s Motorama Show will notice a couple of new features on the race car.

Lacroix Set For Full-Time Campaign

The young talented Kevin Lacroix opened a lot of eyes with his two wins in the 2015 Canadian NASCAR season. This year Lacroix is going for the bigger picture, the driver's championship.

Lacroix is still eligible for the Jostens Rookie of the Year Award, something every driver would love to have in their résumé, but he has set his eyes on a battle for driver's championship of the NASCAR Pinty's Series.
