Pinty’s Series In The News At Motorama

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — First-year entitlement sponsor Pinty’s Delicious Foods will bring a fresh look to the NASCAR Pinty’s Series in 2016, but the new series logo won’t be the only update that fans see this weekend at the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo.

The NASCAR Pinty’s Series is once again participating in the annual motorsports trade show with an information booth, series drivers and a show car, and attendees of this year’s Motorama Show will notice a couple of new features on the race car.

Lacroix Set For Full-Time Campaign

The young talented Kevin Lacroix opened a lot of eyes with his two wins in the 2015 Canadian NASCAR season. This year Lacroix is going for the bigger picture, the driver's championship.

Lacroix is still eligible for the Jostens Rookie of the Year Award, something every driver would love to have in their résumé, but he has set his eyes on a battle for driver's championship of the NASCAR Pinty's Series.

Saskatoon Inks Naming Rights Agreement

Best Of 2015: Canadian Tire Series

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 proved for the third season in a row that it’s the leader of the pack when it comes to close championship competitions.

Following seasons in which the final margin was two (2013) and three (2014) points, the 2015 crown was decided by four as Scott Steckly just edged Jason Hathaway to extend his series record for titles to four.

Pinty’s Series 2016 Schedule Announced

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – NASCAR announced today the NASCAR Pinty’s Series schedule for 2016, the 10th season for the series and the first with entitlement sponsorship from Pinty’s Delicious Foods Inc.

The slate features 12 events across five Canadian provinces, highlighted by a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series companion event for the fourth year in a row at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and a return to the country’s largest market for Honda Indy Toronto weekend.

Champs Celebrate Crowning Achievements

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Three young, rising stars received their first NASCAR championships, and four veteran drivers added to their already impressive resumes.

On a night where the remarkable achievements of 2015 were recognized, it was seven drivers who stood on stage at the Charlotte Convention Center Saturday at the conclusion of the NASCAR Touring Series Night of Champions who accomplished the sport's ultimate honor.

Pinty's To Sponsor Canadian Series

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – NASCAR in Canada has a new name and entitlement sponsor – one that’s familiar to race fans across the country.

NASCAR and Pinty's Delicious Foods Inc. announced today a six-year series entitlement sponsorship agreement of NASCAR’s Canadian-based series. Beginning Jan. 1, 2016, the series will be known as the NASCAR Pinty’s Series.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Consistency and continuity was once again the key as Randy Steckly led the 22 Racing team to the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 championship for the second time in three seasons.

A first cousin to champion driver Scott Steckly, Randy joined the team 15 years ago and has been a member of all four series titles. He served as a tire carrier and truck driver – a role he still fills – prior to his promotion to crew chief in 2013, the team’s third championship campaign.
