Pinty's Series News & Notes: Chaudiere

Tim Southers, NASCAR

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The NASCAR Pinty’s Series will return to Autodrome Chaudiere for the third consecutive year and Jason Hathaway will try to make history at the competitive oval in Vallee-Jonction, Quebec.

Hathaway has won both previous races at Chaudiere, and a third win would tie him with Andrew Ranger for the most consecutive wins at one track in series history. Ranger accomplished the feat at Circuit de Trois-Rivieres (2008-10) and Circuit ICAR (2012-14).

Ranger Saves Best For Last At CTMP

BOWMANVILLE, Ontario -- Andrew Ranger has won in a dominant car at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, and he's lost races on the Ontario track when he's had the car to beat.

Ranger only led three laps in the Clarington 200, but went from third to first on the green-white-checkered finish to grab the season-opening win in the NASCAR Pinty's Series.

It is Ranger's 21st career win and his third at CTMP.
