ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Championships will be on the line when competitors hit the track for the 10th Annual October Classic at All American Speedway on Saturday, Oct. 14.

Five divisions will be in action, with two champions to be crowned, in the biggest event of the year – which will again benefit the Placer Breast Cancer Foundation.

Self Awarded Meridian Victory

MERIDIAN, Idaho -- Fireworks lit up the night sky after the checkered flag flew on the NAPA Auto Parts Idaho 208 presented by Perfect Hydration and Lights Out at Meridian Speedway. And Michael Self wound up being the one to bask in the glory.

The Park City, Utah native wheeled his No. 9 Sunrise Ford/Sinclair Lubricants Ford to the winner's circle at the quarter-mile to earn his first victory of the 2017 season and seventh NASCAR K&N Pro Series West win of his career.

It didn't come without controversy.

QUALIFYING: Gilliland Earns Sixth Pole

Meridian, ID -- Todd Gilliland will start the NAPA Auto Parts Idaho 208 presented by Perfect Hydration and Lights Out from Meridian Speedway in a familiar place: first.

Gilliland's fast lap of 68.519 mph (13.135 seconds) in his No. 16 NAPA Auto Parts Bill McAnally Racing Toyota was good enough to earn his sixth NASCAR K&N West Series 21 Means 21 pole of the season and 12th of his NKNPSW career. This is his 14th K&N pole overall.

PRACTICE: Gilliland Paces Meridian Field

Meridian, Idaho --  NASCAR K&N Pro Series West championship points leader Todd Gilliland had the quickest lap out of two 45-minute practice sessions for the NAPA Auto Parts Idaho 208 presented by Perfect Hydration and Lights Out at Meridian Speedway on Saturday.

His No. 16 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota for Bill McAnally Racing turned a lap of 68.337 mph (13.170 seconds) around the 0.25-mile track.

Gilliland Edges Eggleston For Roseburg Win

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Whatever he lacks in experience, Todd Gilliland makes up for in moxie.

The 17-year-old from Sherrills Ford, North Carolina, won a fiercely contested Clint Newell Toyota 150 presented by NAPA Auto Parts Saturday night at Douglas County Speedway.

QUALIFYING: Eggleston Wins Fourth Pole

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Chris Eggleston was the fastest in final practice Saturday, and the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West championship contender did even better in the qualifying for Saturday night’s Clint Newell Toyota 150 presented by NAPA.

Eggleston won his fourth Coors Light Pole Award of 2017 with a lap of 15.069 seconds (89.588 mph) around the .375-mile semi-banked oval track at Douglas County Speedway.

The 38-year-old from Erie, Colorado, won the previous three races this season in which he started on the pole.

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- As the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West championship battle between Todd Gilliland and Chris Eggleston winds down, each put their best foot forward in Saturday's practice for the Clint Newell Toyota 150 presented by NAPA Auto Parts at Douglas County Speedway.

Gilliland's No. 16 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota posted the fastest overall time in the two 45-minute sessions with a lap of 15.154 (89.085) around the .375-mile semi-banked oval. Eggleston, who was third quick in the first practice, led the final session at 15.191 (88.868).
