LOUDON, N.H. -- In the last three NASCAR K&N Pro Series races, Chase Purdy has started from the pole in all of them and shown plenty of speed. Friday evening, the fast trend continued for the upcoming NASCAR driver.
Purdy posted the fastest overall time in both of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East practice sessions around the 1.058-mile New Hampshire Motor Speedway. His time in the first session of 30.277 seconds (125.798 mph) was the fastest of the day for the series.
Purdy was followed by Ronnie Bassett Jr., who poste the second fastest time of the day with a lap of 30.445 seconds in the second of the two practice rounds. Sheldon Creed was third with a time of 30.446 seconds, which came in the first session. Todd Gilliland and Ruben Garcia Jr. rounded out the top five.
Six through 10 for the overall practice speeds were Trey Hutchens, Harrison Burton, Dillon Bassett, Chase Cabre and Tyler Dippel.
The NASCAR K&N Pro Series East returns to the track for Coors Light Pole Qualifying on Friday evening at 7:05 p.m.
