DOVER, Del. – Collin Cabre picked up his second consecutive Coors Light Pole Award in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East at Dover International Speedway on Friday.
The 23-year-old from Tampa, Florida, was fastest in qualifying with a 155.132 mph lap around the high banked one-mile oval in Delaware and will lead the field to green in the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation 125 presented by Carl Deputy & Son Builders. The NASCAR Next alum scored his first career K&N Pro Series East Series pole at New Jersey Motorsports Park on September 16th.
The Monster Mile is no stranger to Cabre. He scored his first career NASCAR K&N Pro Series East victory at the track in 2015 season finale.
Ruben Garcia, Jr. was second fastest with Harrison Burton, who was fastest in practice and enters the race second in points, was third. Series points leader Todd Gilliland was fourth while Tyler Dippel was fifth.
Rounding out the top-10 qualifiers were Ronnie Bassett Jr., Sheldon Creed, Jay Beasley, Chase Cabre and Dillon Bassett.
The National Fallen Firefighters 125 presented by Carl Deputy & Son Builders at Dover will go green at 5 p.m. ET.
