QUALIFYING: Collin Cabre Claims NJMP Pole

MILLVILLE, N.J. – Collin Cabre picked up his first career NASCAR K&N Pro Series pole at New Jersey Motorsports Park on Saturday afternoon.

The Rev Racing driver set the fast lap at 1:23.914 at the 2.25 mile road course, beating out Will Rodgers for the pole.  Rodgers timed in a 1:24.025 second lap.

Championship contenders Todd Gilliland and Harrison Burton will share the second row.  Gilliland, who has a six point lead over Burton, qualified in third while Burton timed in fourth.  Chase Purdy rounded out the top-five.

Chase Cabre, Ruben Garcia, Jr., Ronnie Bassett, Jr., Max Tullman and Jay Beasley rounded out the top-10.

The green flag will fly on Saturday afternoon’s 125 at 4:45pm.
