CHECKERED FLAG: COREY LAJOIE HOLDS ON COMING OUT OF TURN 4 TO WIN THE ATLANTA 150 -- HIS FIRST NASCAR WHELEN SOUTHERN MODIFIED TOUR VICTORY. TIM BROWN BUMPS LAJOIE COMING OUT OF TURN 4 AND DIVES INSIDE TO TRY TO MAKE PASS. HE GETS HALFWAY UP LAJOIE'S DOOR AS THEY DRAG RACE ACROSS THE LINE. FRANK FLEMING, DAVID BRIGATI, BRANDON HIRE, JAMES CIVALI, JASON MYERS, ZACH BREWER, JOHN SMITH AND BUDDY EMORY ROUND OUT TOP 10.

Lap 148 -- Tim Brown jamming on the brakes to try to power through corner. LaJoie holds line. 

Lap 146 -- Tim Brown starting to close the gap back again. 

Lap 144 -- Tim Brown gets hung up behind Brian Loftin and Corey LaJoie takes lead back going into Turn 2. 

Lap 143 -- Tim Brown goes inside into Turn 2 to take the lead back. 

Lap 140 -- Corey LaJoie leads with 10 to go. 

Lap 137 -- Frank Fleming, David Brigati, Brandon Hire the next three. 

Lap 135 -- Tim Brown all over the back bumper of LaJoie. 

Lap 132 -- Sparks fly as LaJoie makes contact putting Andy Seuss a lap down in Turn 2. LaJoie powers by. 

Lap  131 -- Corey LaJoie takes the lead from Tim Brown in Turn 4 traffic.

Lap 125 -- Zach Brewer and L.W. Miller get together in Turn 2. Miller goes around. Both resume racing and no yellow comes out. 

Lap 122 --  Tim Brown puts L.W. Miller a lap down, and gets a shot to the back bumper for his efforts. 

Lap 120 -- Corey LaJoie moves up to the No. 2 spot. 

Lap 118 -- James Civali has gotten by David Brigati, now on the bumper of Jason Myers. 

Lap 115 -- Leaders remain the same. Brown has opened lead back up but is still behind Jonathan Keivman. 

Lap 110 -- Now Brandon Hire has been able to close on Tim Brown, who is stuck behind Jonathan Keivman. 

Lap 107 -- Civali nearly on Brigati's back bumper. 

Lap 103 -- Tim Brown hung up behing a couple lapped cars, but the rest of the field hasn't been able to close the gap much 

Lap 101 -- James Civali has gotten by Adam Gay and pulled away, gaining ground back on Brigati. 

Lap 99 -- Tim Brown is about to encounter a boat load of traffic 

Lap 94 -- Tim Brown continues to pace the field. Brandon Hire, Zach Brewer, Frank Fleming and Corey LaJoie make up the next group. Jason Myers and David Brigati follow. 

Lap 92 -- Andy Seuss contines to fall back.

Lap 88 -- Brandon Hire gets by Frank Fleming in Turn 4, and Zach Brewer follows. Brewer almost loose into Turn 1, but maintains spot. 

Lap 85 -- Brigati just gives a shot to Jason Myers. 

Lap 83 -- Best battle is between Adam Gay, Andy Seuss and James Civali. Gay makes it three-wide out of Turn 4 to take the spot. 

Lap 80 -- Tim Brown is free of traffic for a while now. 

Lap 77 -- From Fleiming to Brigati, their single file but bunched up. 

Lap 72 -- Leaders have gotten single-file, with Tim Brown leading Frank Fleming, Brandon Hire, Zach Brewer and Corey LaJoie. Jason Myers and David Brigati follow. Andy Seuss and James Civali are another five car lengths back 

Lap 70 -- Adam Gay nearly loses it off Turn 4 and makes a great save to keep going 

Lap 67 -- Tim Brown has opened up the lead on Frank Fleming and Brandon Hire. Jason Myers up to sixth. 

Lap 66 -- Andy Seuss gets stuck on the outside, as Zach Brewer gets by for fourth. 

Lap 64 -- GREEN: Tim Brown has the edge at the line.  

Lap 61 -- Leaders are Tim Brown, Frank Fleming, Brandon Hire, Andy Seuss, Zach Brewer, Corey LaJoie, David Brigati, Jason Myers and LW Miller.  

Lap 60 -- CAUTION NO. 5: Jonathan Keivman spins in Turn 1. Buddy Emory is the free pass car.

Lap 59 -- Frank Fleming leads at the line, but Tim Brown gets it right back. 

Lap 56 -- Leaders are Tim Brown, Frank Fleming, Brandon Hire, Andy Seuss, Jonathan Keivman, Zach Brewer. 

Lap 53 -- CAUTION NO. 4: Burt Myers penalized for running stop sign on pit road. He is sent to pit road after intentionally spinning in Turn 2 to bring our caution. He will be penalized for two laps. James Civali is the free pass; he had lost a lap when he spun.

Lap 51 -- GREEN: Tim Brown gets a jump; Frank Fleming to second.

Lap 49 -- Leaders are Tim Brown, Brandon Hire, Frank Fleming, Jonathan Keivman, Andy Seuss. 

Lap 46 -- CAUTION NO. 3: James Civali spun in front of Adam Gay on front stretch as they battle for position. Mike Norman is the free pass car.  

Lap 42 -- Jason Myers has moved back to 10th but is in a pack of cars a half-lap behind the leaders 

Lap 40 -- Brown pulls away a little. Frank Fleming and James Civali have closed on Jonathan Keivman. Adam Gay and Dave Brigati all alone in their battle about six car lengths behind Civali. 

Lap 35 -- Brandon Hire begins to pressure Tim Brown for the lead with Jonathan Keivman five car lengths back in third 

Lap 31 -- Jonathan Keivman in third, Frank Fleming wins battle for fourth, followed by James Civali, Adam Gay and Dave Brigati 

Lap 30 -- GREEN: Tim Brown jumps to the lead 

Lap 25 -- Leaders are Brandon Hire, Tim Brown, Adam Gay, Jonathan Keivman, James Civali and Frank Fleming.

Lap 24 -- Burt Myers among the cars that pit. 

Lap 22 -- CAUTION NO. 2 for two cars spin in grass outside Turn 2. 

Lap 20 -- GREEN: Another mad scramble in Turns 1 and 2. Corey LaJoie gets pushed into the infield on the backstretch, turns it around and shortcuts back into Turn 3 in the back. 

Lap 18 -- Brandon Hire, Adam Gay,  Jonathan Keivman, Tim Brown, Corey LaJoie, Burt Myers and James Civali are the leaders.

Lap 15 -- CAUTION NO. 1: Greg Butcher stalls in Turn 4 grass. Bryan Dauzat is free pass car 

Lap 14 -- Hire has already started lapping cars. 

Lap 10 -- Tim Brown and Corey Lajoie settled into fourth and fifth. Burt Myers, James Civali and Frank Fleming follow 

Lap 7 -- Brandon Hire, Adam Gay, Jonathan Keivman the top three.

Lap 1 -- Adam Gay has slow start, allows Brandon Hire to jump out to lead; mad scramble into Turn 1 as Burt Myers looks to go all the way to the front, Myers goes wide and loses momentum; James Civali gets loose and saves it in Turn 2 but loses several spots.

7:50 p.m. -- One to go at the line. 

7:45 p.m. -- Geoff Bodine gives command to start engines 

7:40 p.m. -- Driver introductions 

7:35 p.m. -- The Sprint Cup qualifying has concluded; the Whelen Southern Modified cars have rolled out on the grid. It looks like we'll go green shortly before 8. 

6:45 p.m. -- Former NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Geoff Bodine, who will drive in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Saturday, will be the honorary starter for the Atlanta 150. The race is slated to go green at 8 p.m. 

6:15 p.m. -- Top eight qualifiers redrew for starting position. Adam Gay and Brandon Hire redrew No. 1 and 2, followed by Burt Myers and Gary Putnam. Brad Robbins and James Civali were fifth and sixth, followed by Frank Fleming and Tim Brown.

6:05 p.m. -- Update: Josh Nichols qualified for Gary Putnam. Putnam will start the race, but will have to go to the back of the field.

5:48 p.m. -- Qualifying is complete. James Civali wins the Coors Light Pole Award at 62.379. Gary Putnam is second at 61.387, followed by Frank Fleming, Adam Gay, Burt Myers and Tim Brown. 

5:42 p.m. -- Adam Gay now the third fastest. 

5:40 p.m. -- James Civali bumps Gary Putnam from the pole with a lap of 62.379. Putnam, Frank Fleming, Burt Myers and Tim Brown round out the top five.

5:37 p.m. -- Gary Putman takes over the provisional pole with a lap of 61.387 

5:30 p.m. -- Frank Fleming takes over top spot with a 61.350. Myers second after 10 cars, followed by Brown, David Brigati and Zach Brewer 

5:26 p.m. -- Five cars have taken time. Burt Myers leads the way at 61.254. Tim Brown is second at 61.237, with Zach Brewer at third at 60.237.

5:15 p.m. -- Qualifying is underway. 

3:30 p.m. -- Cup practice is currently on the track. Whelen Southern Modified Tour qualifies at 5:15 p.m. 

12:30 p.m. -- The second practice has concluded. Burt Myers shot to the top of the list with a lap of 63.153 mph. He was followed by James Civali, who sat out the first practice with electrical issues, at 62.357, and L.W. Miller at 62.026. John Smith and Tim Brown rounded out the top five. Brandon Hire, Jason Myers, Brian Loftin, Adam Gay and Zach Brewer completed the top 10 of 23 cars that went out.

11:45 a.m. -- Second practice has begun 

11:15 a.m. -- First practice has concluded. Tim Brown is the fastest car at 61.728 mph. Frank Fleming was second (61.417), followed by Corey LaJoie, John Smith and L.W. Miller. 

10:30 a.m. -- First practice is underway. 

7 a.m. -- Garage opens. Twenty-three cars in the garage. Per the entry blank, the starting lineup is 22 cars.
