WALLACE WINS IN HIS FIRST NASCAR K&N PRO SERIES EAST START AND SETS SERIES HISTORY IN THE PROCESS. HE BECOMES THE YOUNGEST DRIVER (AT 16 YEARS, 5 MONTHS, 19 DAYS) TO WIN , THE FIRST AFRICAN-AMERICAN DRIVER TO WIN & AND THE FIRST DRIVE FOR DIVERSITY DRIVER TO WIN IN NASCAR K&N PRO SERIES EAST HISTORY AND SECOND OVERALL. Lap 154 -- GREEN: Whitt by a nose at the line, but Wallace won't give up inside line

Lap 150 -- Leaders are Wallace, Whitt, Smith, Truex, Lavender, Shaw, Gifford.

Lap 149 -- Green-white-checkered finish coming up

Lap 148 -- CAUTION: Brannon spin in Turn 2.

Lap 147 -- Wallace inside of Whitt into Turn 2, takes the lead by a nose at the line

Lap 145 -- Whitt, Wallace and Smith lead the way; Lavender, Shaw and Truex battle for fourth

Lap 143 -- GREEN: Whitt gets a tremendous jump and takes commanding lead

Lap 140 -- Truex is back sixth, where he was able to blend in following the wreck; leaders are Wallace, Whitt, Smith, Lavender, Shaw, Truex, Long, Brannon, Patison, Gifford

Lap 140 -- RED FLAG is withdraw after seven minutes; race resumes under caution

Lap 140 -- RED FLAG: For cleanup of fluid from Bowles and Anton in Turn 2.

Lap 138 -- Dillon and Moffitt are able to driver away; Gresham drives away, too, but pulls behind wall. Bowles and Anton need to be towed. Truex has rear-end damage but keeps going.

Lap 136 -- GREEN/CAUTION: Wallace gets a run into the lead; Truex hiccups down the front stretch and the outside line stacks up behind him into Turn 4. Dillon, Moffitt, Bowles, Gresham and Anton all have major damage.

Lap 132 -- Top 10 is Wallace, Truex, Whitt, Smith, Gresham, Lavender, Shaw, Long, Brannon, Bowles. Dillon, Anton, Patison, Moffitt and Gifford are 11-15

Lap 131 -- CAUTION: MacDonald stopped on front stretch. MacDonald penalized one lap for intentionally bringing out the caution.

Lap 129 -- GREEN: Wallace gets a jump and leads at the line; pulls into inside lane out of turn 2

Lap 125 -- Brannon, Anton, MacDonald, Patison and Moffitt complete top 15.

Lap 124 -- Leaders are Truex, Wallace, Smith, Whitt, Lavender, Gresham, Shaw, Dillon, Bowls and Long.

Lap 122 -- CAUTION: Gifford spins in Turn 4; Johnson also involved. The rest of the field manages to slow and drive around the turnaround car of Gifford.

Lap 121 -- GREEN: Truex by a nose at the line; Wallace jumps into line in second out of Turn 2

Lap 120 -- Leaders are Truex, Wallace, Whitt, Smith, Gresham, Lavender, Gifford, Bowles, Shaw and Long. Dillon, MacDonald, Anton, Brannon and Johnson complete top 15.

Lap 115 -- CAUTION: Kobyluck in the wall in Turn 2; Truex will regain the lead as the running order reverts back to last completed lap

Lap 115 -- Wallace splits lapped traffic to take the lead away from Truex in Turn 4.

Lap 113 -- Leaders are Truex, Wallace, Whitt, Smith, Gresham, Bowles, Lavender, Gifford, Shaw and Long

Lap 111 -- Long is beginning to fade, back to 10th

Lap 108 -- Truex under heavy pressure as he beguns to work through traffic

Lap 106 -- MacDonald loses spots to Gifford and Shaw and is back to 11th

Lap 104 -- Truex works around to lap Swindell, and Wallace keeps pace. Whitt, Smith and Gresham continue to round out top 5

Lap 102 -- Wallace closes in on Truex back bumper

Lap 100 -- Dillon in 11th, followed by Shaw, Kobyluck, Moffitt and Patison

Lap 96 -- Wallace has begun to reel in Truex, and put distance on Whitt. Long, Gresham and Smith follow. Bowles, MacDonald, Lavender and Gifford round out top 10

Lap 94 -- Bowles loses sixth to Smith

Lap 93 -- Gresham uses the outside lane and suddenly is all the way up to fifth

Lap 91 -- Wallace gets under Long to take away second, and Whitt follows suit on the next lap

Lap 90 -- Green: Truex powes into the lead; this time it's Long who holds the inside and Wallace is forced to merge in in third

Lap 87 -- Wallace now in second, followed by Long, Whitt, Bowles, MacDonald, gresham, Smith, Dillon and Lavender. Gifford to 11th, followed by Kobyluck, Shaw, Moffitt and Patison.

Lap 86 -- Duff spins in Turn 2. Collects Ramstrom and Anton.

Lap 85 -- GREEN: Truex goes and Wallace quickly fills hole in second to keep Long on the outside

Lap 83 -- Under caution, the leaders are Truex, Long, Wallace, Whitt, Bowles, MacDonald, Smith, Gresham, Dillon, Lavender, Shaw, Gifford, Moffitt, Kobyluck and Duff.

Lap 79 -- CAUTION: Second half of the field in a major pileup in Turn 4. Johnson, Bell, Polewarczyk, Pattison, Bouley, Rovelo, and Brannon among those involved.

Lap 75 -- MacDonald, Smith, Gresham, Dillon, Lavender, Shaw in a line

Lap 74 -- Bowles still third, followed by Wallace, and Whitt.

Lap 72 -- GREEN: Long hangs with Truex for nearly the entire lap before falling back. Truex quickly rebuilds cusion

Lap 68 -- Pena goes behind the wall

Lap 65 -- CAUTION NO. 6: Pena and Salemi go around in Turn 3 and 4

Lap 64 -- GREEN: Truex again takes off and Long does a nice job of sliding into line in second

Lap 62 -- Leaders are Truex, Long, Whitt, Bowles, Wallace, MacDonald, Smith, Dillon, Lavender, Gresham, Shaw, Moffitt, Gifford, Patison and Swindell

Lap 60 -- CAUTION NO. 5: Piece of debris on frontstretch

Lap 57 -- Wallace moves MacDonald out of the way out of Turn 4 to take fifth

Lap 55 -- Whitt keeps third, while Bowles falls back into a battle for fourth with MacDonald. Wallace is right behind in a battle with Smith

Lap 53 -- GREEN: Truex again shows the way; Long quickly jumps into line in second, with Whitt and Bowles side-by-side for third

Lap 50 -- One-third through the race. Leaders are Truex, Long, Whitt, Bowles, MacDonald, Smith, Wallace, Lavender, Dillon, Shaw, Patison, Moffitt, Kobyluck, Swindell and Gresham

Lap 49 -- CAUTION NO. 4: Caution for Crum stalled on backstretch 

Lap 48 -- GREEN: Truex leads at the line; Crum slows suddenly, but everybody avoids him

Lap 45 -- Leaders are Truex, Long, Whitt, Bowles, MacDonald, Smith, Wallace, Crum, Lavender, Johnson, Dillong, Moffitt, Shaw, Gresham and Patison

Lap 43 -- CAUTION NO. 3: Bell spins in Turn 1

Lap 40 -- Truex pulls away. Long and Whitt nose-to-tail for second. Followed by Bowles. Half straightaway to MacDonald, Dillon, Wallace, Crum and Lavender.

Lap 35 -- Truex, Long, Whitt, Bowles, MacDonald the top five; Smith, Wallace, Crum, Lavender and Johnson round out top 10

Lap 29 -- Ramstrom down pit road; Long shoots into second.

Lap 28 -- GREEN: Truex again picks inside and will lead front row with Whitt. Great start by Truex

Lap 25 -- CAUTION NO. 2: Traffic jam in Turn 2. Duff, Pena, Gifford, Anton, Bell, Germain, and Salemi among the cars involved

Lap 23 -- GREEN: Truex leads the way

Lap 18 -- CAUTION NO. 1: Dustin Delaney and Scott Bouley have problems in Turn 1

Lap 11 -- Moffitt gets by Ramstrom into 13th. Polewarczyk rounds out the top 15.

Lap 8 -- Truex continues to set the pace. Johnson sits in 10th, followed by Dillon and Patison as the drivers click off laps.

Lap 5 -- Wallace, Crum anbd Gifford are right behind MacDonald

Lap 3 -- Truex pulls into the lead, followed by Whitt, Bowles, Smith, Long and MacDonald

Lap 2 -- Truex stays side-by-side and leads by a bumper at the line.

Lap 1-- Whitt leads Truex by a nose across the start line

8:06 p.m. -- Drivers given the one to go; Swindell falls to the rear for unapproved adjustments. Whitt chooses inside lane to start the race

8:03 p.m. -- Cars have rolled off the grid

8:02 p.m. -- Engines have fired for the 2010 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East season

7:59 p.m. -- Invocation and national anthem

7:50 p.m. -- Drivers are getting buckled in to their cars

7:45 p.m. -- Driver introductions have begun.

7:32 p.m. -- Autograph session is winding down on the front stretch; about 10 minutes out from driver introductions

6:40 p.m. -- Qualifying is complete. Cole Whitt is the Coors Light Pole Award winner in his NASCAR K&N Pro Series East debut. It's the second year in a row that the pole winner at Greenville Pickens is in his first race (Brett Moffitt, 2009). Ryan Truex, Jason Bowles, Andrew Smith and Patrick Long rounded out the top five. Eddie MacDonald, Darrell Wallace Jr., Ryan Gifford, Jake Crum and Jason Patison complete the top 10. COMPLETE QUALIFYING RESULTS

6:34 p.m. -- With five cars to go, the top 10 is Whitt, Truex, Smith, Long, MacDonald, Wallace, Gifford, Crum, Patison and Johnson.

6:30 p.m. -- Matt Kobyluck only 19th fastest out of 22 cars.

6:29 p.m. -- Eddie MacDonald jumps to No. 5 on the board.

6:27 p.m. -- After 20 cars, top 10 is Whitt, Truex, Andrew Smith, Patrick Long, Darrell Wallace Jr., Ryan Gifford, Jake Crum, Jason Patison, Jarit Johnson, and Ty Dillon

6:23 p.m. -- Sergio Pena will not make it 2-for-2 in poles. He is currently eighth fastest.

6:22 p.m. -- Cole Whitt bumps Ryan Truex from the provisional pole with a lap of 20.755 (86.726) after 15 of 30 cars.

6:20 p.m. -- Ty Dillon, fastest in practice, is only sixth fastest qualifier after 14 cars.

6:18 p.m. -- Jason Pattison jumps to fourth and bumps Johnson and Moffitt down a spot.

6:16 p.m. -- Defending pole sitter Brett Moffitt, 11th out, is the fifth fastest. Top four are still Truex, Smith, Gifford and Johnson.

6:07 p.m. -- Five cars in, Truex still on point, followed by Andrew Smith, Ryan Gifford, Jarit Johnson and Mackena Bell

6 p.m. -- Ryan Truex sets the bar at 20.826 (86.430)

5:59 p.m. -- Qualifying is two laps; however, Kevin Swindell will be only allowed one lap because he was late for inspection.

5:55 p.m. -- Defending champion Ryan Truex will be the first to qualify, followed by Ryan Gifford, Jarit Johnson and Andrew Smith.

3:45 p.m. -- Corey LaJoie has withdrawn from the event due to damage from his accident during final practice.

3 p.m. -- Final practice is complete. Ty Dillon ended as the fastest car on the chart, followed by Truex, Whitt, Wallace, Swindell, Andrew Smith, Moffitt, Crum, Long and Gifford. PRACTICE TIMES

2:45 p.m. -- Wallace, Kevin Swindell, Jake Crum, Patrick Long and Gifford lead the speed chart in final practice.

2:30 p.m. -- Practice has resumed after the red flag for cleanup.

2:18 p.m. -- Corey LaJoie spins on the frontstretch and will need a wrecker as the No. 07 has significant front end damage. Click HERE for a picture.

2:15 p.m. -- Final practice is underway. Todd Peck has withdrawn from the race due to his accident in practice.

1:45 p.m. -- First practice is complete with Kobyluck, Wallace, Cole Whitt, Ryan Gifford, Moffitt, Truex, Max Gresham, Johnson, Derek Ramstrom and Joey Polewarczyk the 10 fastest cars. Final practice will begin at 2:15 p.m.

1:30 p.m. -- Thirty minutes into the first practice, the five fastest cars are: Matt Kobyluck, Darrell Wallace Jr., Brett Moffitt, Ryan Truex and Jarit Johnson. All 32 cars have been on the track.

1:19 p.m. -- Former NASCAR K&N Pro Series East driver Dale Quarterly is shaking down the No. 30 for Jeff Anton. Quarterly is Anton's crew chief this weekend.

1:15 p.m. -- Practice has resumed.

1:08 p.m. -- Todd Peck is in the wall in Turn 3 and will need a wrecker. The red flag is out.

1 p.m. -- The first practice of the season takes the green flag at Greenville Pickens.

11 a.m. -- The drivers meeting is underway.

Saturday, 9 a.m. -- The NASCAR K&N Pro Series East garage is open. Thirty-two cars unloaded at the speedway on Friday for the season-opener.
