DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.  – The fourth race of the 2010 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East season will take place at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway on Sunday, June 6 with the UNOH Performance 200.

At Martinsville Speedway:
•  Martinsville Speedway opened in 1947.
•  There have been 123 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, 34 NASCAR Nationwide Series, 23 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, 34 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and five NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour races at Martinsville.
•  This will be the inaugural stand-alone race for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East at Martinsville.
•  The NKNPS East featured drivers that competed for their own series points in combination with the NNS in 1989 and 1990 at Martinsville.

Up to Speed:
•  Darrell Wallace Jr. won the season-opener at Greenville Pickens Speedway on March 27.
•  Max Gresham was victorious on April 3 at South Boston Speedway and in the East/West combination race at Iowa Speedway on May 23.
•  The last driver to win three races in a row was Matt Kobyluck in 2008 … The record for consecutive wins is five in a row by Ricky Craven in 1991.
•  Gresham leads in the standings by 14 points.
•  The next race for the NKNPS East following Martinsville will be at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on June 25.

Selected Driver Highlights:
Jake Crum (No. 01 Mark 4 Suzuki Chevrolet)

•  Made NASCAR K&N Pro Series East debut in season-opener at Greenville Pickens Speedway and finished 28th with fuel line problems after he qualified ninth ... Missed last two races.
•  Won the prestigious Bailey’s 300 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series race at Martinsville Speedway in 2009.
•  Was the 2008 UARA champion.

Ty Dillon (No. 3 Mom ‘N’ Pop’s Country Ham Chevrolet)
•  Has four top 10s in six career NKNPS East starts ... Best career finish of second came at Iowa on May 23 in the East/West combination race where he also led the first laps of his career.
•  Is seventh in points after three races.
•  Is a development driver for Richard Childress Racing ... Is the grandson of Richard Childress, son of RCR Vice President of Competition Mike Dillon and younger brother of 2008 NKNPS East Sunoco Rookie of the Year Austin Dillon ... Brother finished 16th in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Martinsville in March.

Ryan Gifford (No. 2 Revolution Racing Chevrolet)
•  Has five top fives in seven career NKNPS East starts.
•  Slipped from second to fifth in points after a 24th-place finish at Iowa on May 23.
•  Is competing for Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors out of the Revolution Racing garage in 2010 as part of the Drive for Diversity program.

Max Gresham (No. 18 Gresham & Associates Toyota)
•  Has two wins, a pole and four top 10s in six career NKNPS East starts.
•  Leads Ryan Truex by 14 points atop the season standings ... Has won the last two races at South Boston Speedway and Iowa.
•  Is a teammate to Brett Moffitt at Joe Gibbs Racing.

Matt Kobyluck (No. 40 Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino Chevrolet)
•  The 2008 NKNPS East champion.
•  Has seven poles, 16 wins and 92 top 10s in 171 career NKNPS East starts.
•  Is ninth in points after three races with a best finish of fifth at SBS.

Jody Lavender (No. 88 Chevrolet)
•  Has 13 top 10s in 25 career NKNPS East starts.
•  Registered best career finish of second at GPS in 2009, and tied that in the 2010 opener, also at GPS.
•  Finished 11th at SBS and did not participate in the Iowa East/West race.

Eddie MacDonald (No. 71 UNOH/Grimm Construction Chevrolet)
•  Has six wins, two poles and 51 top 10s in 124 career NKNPS East starts.
•  Is currently eighth in points after three races with best finishs of seventh at SBS and Iowa.
•  Was the 2009 championship runner-up, just 34 points behind titlist Ryan Truex.

Brett Moffitt (No. 20 Game Plan for Life Toyota)
•  Has two wins, one pole and 10 top 10s in 14 career NKNPS East starts.
•  Is 10th in points after three races in 2010 with a best finish of sixth at SBS.
•  Competes as a teammate to Max Gresham in 2010 in the JGR development program.

Steve Park (No. 08 Spraker Racing Chevrolet)
•  Will make his 2010 NKNPS East debut after he competed full-time in the series in 2008-09.
•  Finished 2009 fifth in NKNPS East points with a win, his first career pole and seven top 10s.
•  NKNPS East career includes three wins and 23 top 10s in 39 starts.
•  Also has wins in the NSCS, NNS, NCWTS and NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.
•  Best NSCS finish in 11 races at Martinsville was 11th in 2000 ... Top effort in four NCWTS starts at Martinsville was 23rd in 2004 ... Best NWMT finish in 11 races was fifth in 1992.

Sergio Pena (No. 4 Revolution Racing Chevrolet)
•  Is 15th in points after three races with a best finish of 14th at SBS.
•  Is competing for Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors out of the Revolution Racing garage in 2010 as part of the Drive for Diversity program.
•  Made NKNPS debut in the NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown ... Won the pole, led 54 laps and finished as runner-up to Joey Logano in the prestigious post-season exhibition.
•  Competed in Late Models at Shenandoah Speedway and Motor Mile Speedway in 2009.

Andrew Ranger (No. 35 Waste Management Recycle America Chevrolet)
•  Made NKNPS East debut in the East/West combo race and finished 28th.
•  The 2007 and 2009 champion of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1.
•  Has nine wins, five poles and 32 top 10s in 37 career NCATS races.

D.J. Shaw (No. 60 Chevrolet)
•  Is sixth in points and is the only driver to finish in the top 10 in each of the first three races ... Best finish so far was fifth in the opener at GPS.
•  Made NKNPS East debut in 2009 with a pair of starts, both at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
•  Raced in select PASS North, PASS South and ACT races in 2009.
•  Is the son of 1994 NKNPS East Champion Dale Shaw, who is crew chief of the No. 60.

Ryan Truex (No. 00 Michael Waltrip Racing Toyota)
•  The 2009 NKNPS East titlist ... Has three wins, two poles and 10 top 10s in 15 career starts.
•  Is second in points after three races in his title defense ... Best finish was third at SBS.
•  Is a development driver for Michael Waltrip Racing ... Is scheduled to make his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut at Gateway International Raceway on July 17.
•  Father, Martin Sr., and brother, Martin Jr., also competed in the NKNPS East.

Darrell Wallace Jr. (No. 6 Revolution Racing Chevrolet)
•  Is third in points after three races in his rookie campaign with a win in the season-opener at GPS.
•  Became the youngest race winner in series history at 16 years, five months and 19 days, which surpassed Brett Moffitt’s mark set last year ... Also became the first African-American driver to win in the series’ 24-year history.
•  Competes out of the Revolution Racing garage as part of the Drive for Diversity program.

Cole Whitt (No. 84 Red Bull Toyota)
•  Is fourth in points after three races in his rookie campaign with a best finish of second at SBS.
•  Earned the pole and finished third in his NKNPS East debut at GPS.
•  Is a development driver for Red Bull Racing.
