HAGERSVILLE, Ont — D.J Kennington set the quickest lap in NASCAR Pinty’s Series practice for the Pinty’s Fall Brawl at Jukasa Motor Speedway.

The 40-year-old racer from St.Thomas, Ontario, set a blistering lap time of 18.720 seconds (120.192mph) around the .625 mile speedway to top the charts.

Kennington’s No.17 Castrol Edge Dodge has been consistent on the oval tracks this season, and it looks like he has brought the same fast pace to Jukasa.

Series points leader Alex Labbe finished the hour long session in the second position with a time of 18.791 (119.738), just missing the top spot by 0.071 seconds.

Donald Chisholm, who made the trek all the way from Antigonish, Nova Scotia, came home third (18.831/119.484).

Andrew Ranger and Donald Theetge rounded out the top five.

Cayden Lapvcevich and Alex Tagliani finish sixth and seventh, respectively, while Kevin Lacroix and Brandon White complete the top ten.

Qualifying for the Pinty’s Fall Brawl is scheduled to start at 4 p.m with the green flag set to drop at 7:30 p.m.
