Euro NASCAR delegation enjoys unforgettable night at the NASCAR Cup Series Awards

It was a special night for the European delegation that joined the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series awards in Las Vegas, Nevada on Thursday, November 29th. Anne & Jerome Galpin, together with Ulysse Delsaux, enjoyed the celebration of Joey Logano and the 2018 Cup Series season with drivers and teams from the highest level of NASCAR in the US.

Attending the event for the first time, 2018 NWES ELITE 2 Division Champion Ulysse Delsaux was impressed by the show and the opportunity he was provided by the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series.

“To be in a unique place like Las Vegas with the best drivers in NASCAR was simply unbelievable and I want to thank NASCAR and NWES for this incredible opportunity. The whole evening was impressive in every moment. Being in such a huge event is a dream come true and it gives me even more motivation to do better and better in the future,” said the 21-year-old French driver.

The Awards ceremony reached its culmination when NASCAR Chairman & CEO Jim France presented 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion Joey Logano with his championship ring. Joining the event represented another important step for the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series and its founders Anne and Jerome Galpin.

“It was a great event! It was a very good opportunity to meet with members of the industry and figure the next steps of the Euro NASCAR Development. The Cup Series is definitely the ultimate goal for us and for our drivers. So, being able to exchange with people involved at every level of the sport is very helpful to keep growing it in Europe and build the path to the USA.” said NWES President / CEO Jerome Galpin.

Up next for Euro NASCAR is the December 7th appointment with the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina, where the Series will celebrate 2018 champion Alon Day and another season of impressive growth for the European NASCAR Championship.

In the meantime, Jerome and Anne Galpin will fly to Mexico City to attend the NASCAR Peak Mexico Series Finals before heading to Charlotte, North Carolina to join the Euro NASCAR group.
