FONTANA, Calif. — Trevor Huddleston, a 22-year-old third generation race car driver from Augora Hills, will once again be behind the wheel of Bob and Maureen Bruncati’s trademark blue and orange Sunrise Ford sponsored Ford Fusion.
The 2019 K&N Pro Series season will see Trevor making the move over to the Sunrise Ford Racing’s #9 team, where many successful drivers such as Ryan Partridge, Michael Self, and Dylan Lupton have seen Victory Lane. Trevor will once again be joined by veteran crew chief Clinton Cram, as the pair looks to expand on their 2018 campaign that saw them collect 3 top 5’s, and 11 top 10’s in 14 starts, and a 6th place finish in the championship. On top of a full time K&N schedule, Trevor ran select NASCAR Whelen All American Series Late Models, both at Irwindale Speedway and Kern County Speedway, which awarded him his 4th consecutive California state championship.
“I cannot thank Bob and Maureen Bruncati enough for this amazing opportunity. It is an honor to drive for such wonderful people and be apart of their racing family. I think I speak for everyone at Sunrise Ford Racing when I say that we are ready for the 2019 season and the challenge of bringing home a fourth championship for Sunrise Ford.” said Trevor Huddleston.
Supporting the #9 team in their 2019 efforts will be sponsor’s Sunrise Ford, Lucas Oil, Eibach Springs, TerraClean and Braille Batteries.
“I wouldn’t be here without the efforts of so many people over the years including my incredible sponsors, my family, friends, and people such as Jeff Schrader, Bill Lowe and my entire High Point Racing team.” says Trevor Huddleston.
