QUALIFYING: Rain Cancels Session at New Smyrna

NEW SMYRNA, Fla. — Qualifying for the New Smyrna 175 at New Smyrna Speedway has been canceled due to rain.

The field will be set based on the rulebook: practice speeds.

Per the rulebook, Hailie Deegan will roll off first. However, she is not awarded with the pole award. This will be the fourth front row start for the Temecula, California native (poles at Las Vegas and Kern County, second-place start at Roseville).

Drew Dollar, Brandon McReynolds, Sam Mayer and Colin Garrett round out the top five starters.

Chase Cabre, Anthony Sergi, Tanner Gray, Ty Gibbs and Ruben Garcia Jr. complete the top 10.


The 19-car field was able to get on track for 90 minutes earlier Sunday afternoon for a practice session in addition to Saturday’s optional practice session.


The green flag for the New Smyrna 175 is scheduled to fly at 7:40 p.m. The race will be live streamed on beginning at 7:30 p.m. Todd Gilliland is the defending winner of the event.
