BOWMANVILLE, Ont — Kevin Lacroix won the pole for the Total Quartz 200 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
Lacroix’s No.74 Bumper to Bumper Dodge set a time of 1 minute 22.258 seconds (107.617mph) around the 2.450-mile road course to claim his 10th career pole and third at CTMP. The Saint-Eustache, Quebec driver has had a flawless record when starting from the pole, sweeping both 2017 events from the top starting spot.

Alex Tagliani will roll off the grid second. Tagliani set a time of 1:22.544 (107.245) to claim his second front row start of 2019. The Lachanaie, Quebec driver will be one of only three others making the double duty effort this week, running both Pinty’s and Trucks.
Marc-Antoine Camirand will roll off the grid third with a time of 1:22.582 (107.195). Camirand’s No. 22 GM Paille Chevrolet will look to improve one spot on his career best CTMP finish of second last May.
Points leader Andrew Ranger and CTMP track record holder Gary Klutt complete the top five.
Anthony Simone and LP Dumoulin were sixth and seventh, respectively. While Alex Labbe, D.J Kennington and JF Dumoulin round out the top ten starters.
The green flag for the TOTAL Quartz 200 will drop at 11:05 a.m. EST.
